Md. Ariful Islam is an accountant with 5+ years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, audit and assurance, taxation, budgeting, and forecasting.

He has strong knowledge of IFRS, IAS, and ISA, and is a licensed Income TAX Practitioner (NBR Bangladesh). He has passed the ICAB Certificate Level, is currently pursuing the ICAB Professional Level, and has completed ACCA Part 1. He holds an MBA in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Dhaka.

Ariful is skilled in QuickBooks, Xero, Wave and ERP systems. He combines analytical thinking and attention to detail with experience in team leadership, helping organizations keep accurate books, stay compliant, and make informed financial decisions.

Income TAX Practitioner (NBR) since 2025, preparing and filing returns for individuals, partnership firms and companies; obtaining TAX clearance certificates, e-TIN registrations and exemption or reduced-rate certificates; managing withholding TAX compliance; and representing clients before Deputy Commissioners of Taxes in assessments, audits and hearings. Previously Manager (Finance & Accounts) at Skin Cafe Limited for five years, responsible for financial reporting, audit, internal controls, TAX and VAT, and Financial Analyst at Socian Limited.

Completed CA articleship (CA CC) at ACNABIN, Chartered Accountants, in 2017 and passed the ICAB Certificate Level in 2019. Holds an MPA in Accounting from the University of Dhaka and a BBA in Accounting from Fareast International University, is a Xero certified advisor, and works with Tally ERP 9, Odoo and Xero.

Accomplished Legal & Compliance Manager and Advocate at the Dhaka Judge Court with over 11 years of extensive experience driving contract lifecycle management, regulatory compliance, and corporate affairs across the IT, Energy, and RMG sectors. Proven expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements, Master Services Agreements, joint ventures, and vendor contracts. Skilled in conducting internal investigations, verifying land documentation, and managing high-stakes litigation across major infrastructure and energy projects. Exceptional ability to navigate multi-agency government and corporate affairs—liaising with key regulatory authorities including BIDA, RJSC, BPDP, DOE, NBR, BTRC, and various ministries.

Academically, an LL.M. in International Business Law from Coventry University, England, and an LL.B. from Williamsburg University, England. Professional credentials are further strengthened by Post Graduate Diplomas in Compliance & Risk Management as well as Human Resources Management endorsed by EduPro (UK). Licensed as an Advocate by the Bangladesh Bar Council and an active member of the Dhaka Bar Association.
